David Marshall - Comic Book Art | RetroActive
Substance
Lots of time spent with family albums, yearbooks and the internet. It's hard to know when to stop reliving the past and start drawing.
I couldn't let go until I knew exactly how to draw the Marvel stickers, television, furniture, fashions and even the current issue of FOOM. What might not be apparent is the equally obsessive research of the suicide note. This was based largely on Kurt Cobain's note, with random samples of others.
