David Marshall - Comic Book Art | Wacky Accidents | Shower Powered
Substance
The protagonist's visual appearance is based on the actor who played Les Nessman on WKRP in Cincinnatti. The apartment, furnishings -- and even the Howard Stern interview with Dave Chappelle, were all real.
Form
I produced this one while still working on Zip's Last Day. The object was to invent a quicker, more relaxed drawing style. Even here, I couldn't draw completely out of my head.
