Carbonite
Front-end development and visual design for e-Commerce Marketing group. Worked closely with Copy Writer and Art Director, insuring the final results accurately presented the overall Marketing objectives. Designed multiple variations of PPC landing pages, popup windows, HTML emails and banner ads. Hand-coded final resources (XHTML, CSS, AJAX) to function in .NET platform.

As part of the Web Development team, I built standards-compliant XHTML/CSS websites for our clients. My work began by creating static HTML templates from designer's Photoshop mockups. The templates were used in a content population process, optimizing the website for a PHP environment.
Federation of Massachusetts Farmers Markets
Complete redesign of a medium-size (30+ pages) website for a non-profit organization. Overhauled web architecture with a CSS/XHTML makeover. Content includes tabled data of over 95 individual markets. Reorganized page layout, information flow for more logical content presentation.
Merrill Lynch ITG
Web Developer + Designer, 2000 - 2003
I provided visual design for Merrill's US Private Client (USPC) sites. The overall responsibility was solving techncial problems (browser compatability, new web technologies, cleaning up outdated code), consensus-building and maintaining editorial consistency.

I provided technical and artistic support to the development of the start-up company's website. Ported content from previous version, contributed to creation of new content, writing copy, formatting graphics for print.

New design of a small (10+ pages) website for a investment manager. Structured the site in CSS/XHTML. Visual design inspired by the client's hobby as an antique book collector.

Redesigned content, markup and visual design of a small (7 pages) website for an world-renowned musician. Overhauled web architecture for SEO. Tabled content includes tour dates (monthly updates) and an extensive discography.
